A little DOWN UNDER!!

We got a week in Sydney Australia and LOVED it!!

We were on the ferry in the bay.
Thanks to Jenna's flight bene's we got to fly over to Sydney from S.F. on

United in business class, WOW!  Lay down seats and personal video screens

that played videos of our choice?!?!  14 hrs. over and 13 hrs. back...
We got there for Easter Week and it is turning fall there, SO we got

a couple of nights of rain, Jenna and I had to walk w/ our beach towels

to get home from shopping one night, creative!!!

We found the Easter Bunny on Manley Island.  Jenna and Hillary were

worried there was NO Easter in Australia..  THERE IS!!!  Things closed

down on "Good" Friday and most stayed closed until the following Tues.

WOW, a 4 day weekend for Easter!

with us!  Mini Penguins from Antartic, transplanted into Australia.

thanks to Hillary for finding out about this place!

Where DO I start??

A move in progress...  Jesse opens his Easter bag early!

Well, he shared w/ Jesse one day...  He LOVED that garlic shrimp AND Puka Dogs!!!
When Michael and I returned from St. George we had a girls dormitory 

at Kelepa!  Jenna was having ALL her girl friends/cousins pop in for the

last week of island fun!  Well, they shared the car w/ Jesse and got around

on hikes, beaching, surfing and fun in the sun!  Camey went to the airport 3 times

to fly out stand-by and we got to send 9 pieces of luggage thanks for her efforts!!!
I had a final concert day on the last Sat.  The students were SO nice and 

covered me w/ beautiful leis!  It was AMAZING!  SO sad to be leaving them!!

Back From St. George

Pictures loaded backwards... SO this is the van we rode to Las Vegas w/ 15 people.

I wanted to share that I was in the back corner CRAMMED into a 4 person bench IN the

CORNER for 2 hours, oh, I said that...

Thank goodness I am NOT clausterphobic?? We flew in and out of Las Vegas to go stay

w/ Grampa for a week while Grma went to her grandsons wedding in WA.
We got to go to the Draper Temple dedication and Brigham Young's winter home

and Zion's Nat. Park and PLENTY of milk shakes w/ Grandpa.
We ate brunch on Sat. at the Bear Claw and it was YUMMY! Dad Michael

got the short stack and it COVERED the plate!
This is Grpa/Grma in St. George, they are "snow-birding" from SLC area

and it was nice down there in their "Temple View" trailer park.
Grandpa picked the crepes and I shared some w/ him, they were SO good!

We stayed Tues-Tues. and had plenty to do the WHOLE week!

Wound Clinic for Grpa's legs to be wrapped,

Grma to the Shuttle Wed. morning early,

Home health nurse to the trailer to wrap Grpa's legs,

out to dinner to the Golden Corral and Olive Garden,

Potluck Wed. night dinner w/ the park,

milkshakes for lunch,

card playing and banana creme pie w/ Betty and Reid a couple of nights,

a couple trips to Walmart, Albertson's and Kmart.

A day drive thru the Zions Nat. Park (beautiful!)

Stripped the wallpaper off the bedroom wall.

Watched TV a couple nights, busy and entertaining!

Thanks Grpa for the fun week and the great hospitality!!

LOVE YOU!! Glad Grma got to go to the wedding!!

THIS side of the Pacific!

Michael and I took off Sat. for Monterey and Carmel!

An absolutely beautiful day at Carmel Beach and we took a walk along the beach.

The water was COLD on my feet!! 
Michael at our condo watching the sun sink into the ocean and the colors

were amazing!  It was COLD, but beautiful.
Jake and Camille, we stopped by YOUR home to say "HI!" but you weren't

home??  It still looked like no one was living there, put an offer on it!!

he loaded for us to fly to the mainland...  A BIG move in progress!!

Thank goodness for Jenna's flight bene's...  We couldn't do this event w/o

her help!!!  We Fed Ex-ed 2 boxes earlier that day!  It's amazing how much

stuff we have at 50 lbs. at a time!!!     ?
A busy day at the wharf, I am delivering the CRV to ship to Oakland.

Jesse is behind me to help w/ the delivery.  The cruise ship was there and

things were BUSY!!
Our timeshare in Monterey, right on the ocean.  This is looking out our

kitchen area, not as close to the waves as Jake/Camille were, but nice!
THERE'S that ocean that we ALL love!!  Sunny and blue, everyone was 

lovin' it!!  SO many dogs running around too!  And surfers in full wet suits!
We match the water!  Loving the sunshine and the white sand!

There's that ocean again!  The fog pushed back and it was GORGEOUS!!
