Fun in the Sun!...
Go to the beach and wave to my family from the surf...
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Sharing our point of view...
It was a "family" day at the beach, Jenna and Jesse getting ready for swimming.
Swimming/tubing Hawaii style and playing in the waves.
My new "blog" picture... wondering why I waited SO long to get the beach in the blog?
This is what we do during the summer.../fall/winter/spring... Any questions?

...He BOUGHT a race car, Mom!
This was our "pre" hike conversation while driving to the Kapaa mountain
for some mom/daughter time... Jenna had asked what Michael was doing this evening
and I said he was over at John's, our mechanic, working on JOHN'S RACE CAR...
WHAT? We had agreed that we were buying a COUCH first!!!
Not a race car?!?!? So I decided to sleuth this out for myself.
Yep, LOOK at those greasy hands and that smile, Chess-ire Cat IF I ever saw one!
Michael's explanation... It only cost $400 and I've ALWAYS wanted to race and
I'm racing on July 4/5, SO we are getting it tuned up! ...anyways, I just bought the
racing helmet! Yeah, I HAD found that sitting in the hall closet and didn't EVEN put the
whole thing together... Guess I was still on Atlanta time and a little fogged!
SO, pictures WILL follow and NOW we have big plans for July 4th!?
And I am married to a "grease" monkey/racer dude?!?!
Well, a VERY happy "grease" monkey... Is there such a thing as a 60ish mid life fling?
OK, hopefully he can sell his teal truck soon and maybe Jenna can drive the race car on the
OFF Race days!!?
Michael said something about having to change out the RACE tires... Oh, MAN!!
Jesse GOES to Work!
stopped by Jess's work to let him "artist" a pastrami footlong sandwich for us.
It was really good! Jenna got him to put EXTRA, EXTRA pepperchinnis on it...
SEE? Yummy sandwich and drink and white chocolate cookies
make for a good "after hike" dinner. Jesse was asking to learn how to cook, so now

Back from Atlanta...
#1 Baby Jordyn entered the world and is SO cute!
Water broke Sunday noonish, she was born Tues. 4:35am... Long labor! Beautiful baby!!
starting to fly full for the summer and I got to spend 15 hrs. getting to LA the Monday I took off... Flew into Kauai Tues. by noon, got to fly back the Hawaii leg FIRST class, THANKS Jenna!!
Baby clothes opened and washed for new use.
Squirrels to watch in the backyard, weeds to pull and bushes to trim,
rocking chairs to sit on in the sun while baby got over jaundice. AND...
about 97 episodes of HGTV to watch during labor, after birthing and during moving in and naptime...!
Jax ran a couple errands each day after getting home from the hospital, and she says she's feeling really good now,
just needs to keep napping during the day.
Nursing seems to have taken for them and we're excited for that!!!
The trip was from Sat. night to Monday morning and not a dull moment!!!
8 days of Atlanta fun! See you guys in Oct, when it is COOLER there!!!
