Dad Michael's update

Well, Michael found the drag race track in full action this weekend, Sat.
This was one of the cars available to be racing.
VERY different from MY little polmagranite car that had to 4-wheel into the cabin to join the bday party! Andy Stennett's NEW truck in the background!!! Aaron LOVES it, it's a DODGE truck!!!
Time to set up the ham radio since we were ALL there at the cabin and accounted for. That's Andy Stennett in the hat and chair by Michael.
No real contacts made on the ham radio, but a good attempt...

in the back of the truck, we just had eaten lunch up by the lodge and we were going to get cell phone service.
Jenna and HER circle of friends, the Del Sol girls came up for
the last night after work... This was the end of the chocolate banana pie that we got to celebrate JENNA'S bday since we weren't WITH her for that day. Forks for all!
OK, they all agreed that THAT was a yummy breakfast, on with their day! They were SO full! After that Jenna helped clean the cabin and the girls all left to adventure the canyon, take and airplane flight sight-seeing and lay by their pool. Rough to be here on THE island!

HAPPY #16 Jesse!!

This is Jesse's world of friends, a couple of friends missing,
but the CORE of his world... Kates, Ansley, Aaron and Jesse. Up at the cabin at Kokee, in the kitchen.
This is of the kids eating lunch in the meadow up at
Kokee Lodge for Jesse's bday. Adding Jenna, Jordan and Kailee to the group.
Is that Jesse OR superman? Happy bday gift to Jesse.
Starting a 4-wheeling bicycle trip with the Stennett guys and Jesse up at the cabin, post bday morning.

Now the SPOT is found!

Somewhere along a rock wall facing the east where the sun comes up, was the clue... What? reach in here! That's LAVA rock.
But there is a geo-cache container in there with some treasures.
See, we're over by the lighthouse.
So Michael is putting the "travel bug" he and the kids found at a different geo sight, into the container.
It was a small wizard figurine with a tracking # on it...
It wants to see the castles of the world... How about a lighthouse?
You get to sign your name to the recording pad in the container and
you can email the people who made up the sight upon finding it.
TN/LN means Took nothing/Left nothing, just so you KNOW!
But you can leave a small trinket that represents something for you and take one that is in the container.
So this is the treasure we got... A CD holder? Random little trinkets, NO gold medallions, nothing spectacular, but a treasure none the less... We leave the surf board key chains.

Today we went to this GEO-CACHE sight on THIS island...

So do any of you guys geo-cache? You take a GPS and
check out the website and get some coordinates and go on an adventure.
This one took us over behind the Marriott on some red dirt 4-wheeling...
PAUSE everything! A plane is flying over the lighthouse to land on the runway RIGHT there in 3-2-1 seconds!!
A beautiful day to be by the ocean, blue sky and water...
and MORE water. No whales, but oh yeah, that's the harbor
over there. Now to find the spot!

MORE of a good tastin' thing!

These plates were $400 EACH, gold something... That was our first dinner in the FRENCH restaurant. The BEST steak I've EVER had!!! even at sea!
Some BIG piece of some MEAT, dinner is served...
This was the buffet area on the 12th level of the ship,
where we ate breakfast and lunch and one dinner... SOOOO much food! We did take the stairs the WHOLE cruise instead
of using the elevator. We were on the 9th level and the entertainment was on the 7th level. Shops on the 6th level. Good exersize potential!
Would you want to SHARE this dessert? NO! I want my OWN!
How about this one? You mean we can order as many as we
want? WHO needs dinner then?
